6PM Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Battle Creek, a newly revitalized full-service hotel featuring extensive meeting space, an onsite restaurant and lounge, and the warmth and hospitality guests expect from the Hilton brand.
The AGM plays a vital leadership role in hotel operations, supporting the General Manager while overseeing the Rooms Division and Food & Beverage departments. You’ll help guide the day-to-day performance of the hotel while building a service culture that sets us apart in the Battle Creek market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B Outlets, Banquets, Events, and Valet.
- Act as the on-property lead in the absence of the GM, ensuring high standards are maintained across departments.
- Collaborate on business strategies that drive top-line revenue, optimize labor, and control costs.
- Champion service excellence and guest satisfaction through visibility, engagement, and proactive problem solving.
- Coach department heads, implement training programs, and cultivate a high-performance, team-driven culture.
- Utilize Hilton and 6PM systems including M3, Paycor, and Quore to manage operations and support financial reporting.
- Support the F&B team with menu development, licensing compliance, and food quality initiatives.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and brand compliance throughout the property.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience, with a strong foundation in both Rooms and F&B.
- 3+ years in a senior operational role with direct team oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient with Hilton platforms (OnQ, PEP, R&I), M3, Quore, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license, CPR, Food Safety (ServSafe or equivalent), and TIPS/TAMS certification.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
